Sono finalmente state annunciate le nomination per i Grammy Awards 2015. Pharrell Williams ed Ed Sheeran hanno annunciato le nomination per quella che è la 57esima edizione del prestigioso premio, che si terrà a Los Angeles l'8 febbraio 2015. Taylor Swift è in corsa, come prevedibile, per il Record of the Year e per la Miglior Performance Pop da solista per il brano "Shake It Off". Nella categoria principale ci sono anche "All About That Bass" di Meghan Trainor, "Chandelier" di Sia, "Stay with me" di Sam Smith e "Fancy" di Iggy Azalea e Charlie XCX.

Sorprende la presenza degli U2 e di "Songs of Innocence" tra i Best Album Rock, categoria completata da "Turn Blue" dei Black Keys, “Morning Phase” di Beck, “Ryan Adams”, album omonimo e da “Hypnotic Eye” di Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers.
