Si sono svolti qualche sera fa i Country Music Awards a Las Vegas, premi che ogni anno consacrano le migliori star della musica country. L’evento, trasmesso dalla CBS, ha visto trionfare la band dei Lady Antebellum che si sono portati a casa ben tre statuette nelle categorie “Song of the year”, “Top vocal group of the year” e “Single record of the year”.

I Lady Antebellum sono una band americana formatasi a Nashville, diversamente da molte band  hanno deciso di concentrarsi sulla musica country. Il successo è arrivato nel 2008 quando il pezzo "Love Don't Live Here” ha raggiunto la terza posizione della classifica country “Hot Country Songs”, portandoli poi ad ottenere il disco di platino. Il successo li ha consacrati uno dei gruppi più interessanti della scena musicale americana.
